In the good old days the Microsoft o/s came on a cd-rom which was included with your pc. So now I'm stuck with a brand-new VAIO that I need to go out and buy and operating system for if I want to fully clear all the cr*p off it? Grrr. I've uninstalled everything I can but it loads tons of stuff on boot and the hard disk clicks away for a good 5 mins. It's a Penryn machine with 3GB of RAM too so the computer itself isn't the issue here.
