Installing Win DVD on Vista Business???

i have fz21z laptop i made recovery cd but it came with home premium.... problem is i have installed vista business on it and now i cant install Win DVD on it i dont get option of recovery in start menu.... any help??? i have tried all the utilities available for download but none for recovery...

Hi rehanahmeds and welcome to Club Vaio.

Unfortunately, you cannot reinstall WinDVD from your recovery discs. It is not necessary with any other Vista Upgrade as you just have to change the license key, but HP to Business is not recognised as an upgrade and has to be a fresh install.

There is a way around it but I can't guarantee it will work on your model - but worth a try: -

You will have to add the two updates since May 2007
