Just out of the box VPCF12S1E and the internal Blu-ray player can not play a Blu-ray authored disc without jumping and stuttering yet the disc plays perfectly via a LG USB external player / writer and a Blu-ray player. The laptops internal optical drive performance is very disappointing considering the price of this laptop and that it has a Full HD resolution screen - what is the point!. Not impressed Sony.
