Is it possible to change a palm rest?

Hello  I have Sony Vaio C  http://i2.expansys.com/img/b/209955/sony-vaio-c-series-laptop-vpcca1s1e-w-windows-7-hp.jpgseries and I spilled glue over my palm rest.:( .I would like to know if it is possible to buy a new palm rest and to replace the old one?And if so can I buy it from a Sony store for example? And what would be the price? Can it be changed by professionals in  the store or at a service?

Thank you very much in advance!

Sorry to hear about your Vaio.

I think it will need to be replaced in a Sony Service Centre to preserve your warranty.

If you go to Vaio After Sales Service here: -

http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/index.aspx?m=0&l=en_GB

Enter your Serial Number and then go to 'Get in Touch' and 'Phone Support'.  You will see the contact details and you can speak to Vaio Support about the best way forward and to get an estimate of the cost.

Thank you very much for the advice!I used the written support,so hopefully they will answer me in 48 hours!I hope I'll keep my warranty!

I can use my laptop now but it's really sad to look at the spots of this glue!Anyway if it's really expensive or if I will lose my warranty if replacing the palm rest,I'll have to get used to it!   Thank you very much again!
