memory usage

Hi I ama proud owner of a VGN-CR29XN. It is still new and I do not have much loaded on it. The memory usage is very high. it is always running around 50%. is this normal and how do i fix it if it is not normal.

Hi Chris and welcome to Club Vaio.

Don't worry 50% is about normal.

The more memory you have available, the more Vista will reserve for its own use or to allocate to improved graphics performance.
