Missing an accent on my VAIO 215M

I can't find an accent on my VAIO 215M with an AZERTY keyboard.

I'm looking for the ` accent, but in the other direction, like the accent on é. Normally this accent can be found on the %ù key and can be accessed by ALT GR + that key, but on my keyboard I can't find that accent on any key.

Really weird! Am I stupid or has Sony 'forgotten' something?

Maybe this will make things clearer.
Never used an AZERTY keyboard on a PC, just a typewriter

Yes, I have the ` accent (on the 7 button), but I need that accent in the other direction like the accent on é. I have an Belgian Azerty keyboard on another PC and there is the accent located on the % button (accessible by ALT GR + %).

I found an example on the internet!

It's ` (copy/paste) I'm looking for...

No. The é just gives you an é.

With the accent I'm looking for you can place that accent (accent aigue like it's called in French) on ANY character (which is useful if you want to emphasize something).

But it seems like that is a 'Belgian AZERTY only' function. Weird.

Well it's not used much in English, so I'm not suprised that it doesn't work.

We mainly use it on a and e in France.

This is just a thought, ignore it if it doesn't make any sense LOL

From Microsoft Office Word 2003 Help:

Keyboard shortcuts for international characters

For keyboard shortcuts in which you press two or more keys simultaneously, the keys to press are separated by a plus sign (+) in Microsoft Word Help. For keyboard shortcuts in which you press one key immediately followed by another key, the keys to press are separated by a comma (,). To type a lowercase character using a key combination that includes the SHIFT key, hold down the CTRL+SHIFT+symbol keys simultaneously, and then release them before typing the letter.
