Missing Keys for SONY VAIO PCV-W1/G

Hello

My SONY VAIO PCV-W1/G

is missing some keyboard keys.

1.     How do I replace them or the keyboard?

2.     Are there equivalent keys or keyboards available that are used on other models?

Hello tygeroo,

it is possible to replace individual keys on that keyboard, but only if they've been ripped off without damage to the keyboard itself and the rubber cone that acts as spring. I'd recommend that you inspect the keyboard's gaps for the rubber cones and other damage and post a picture in this thread to evaluate the chances or repairing it by yourself. It might be easy, it might be nigh-impossible. More information needed.

In this case it's unfortunate that the keyboard is attached to the computer. The easiest fix - if you have space and don't mind the space problem - is to use a USB keyboard and ignore the attached keyboard.
