Anybody help, I think I may have a problem with my modem, but how can I check it out.
My laptop will connect to the Internet, but after a few minutes (sometimes a couple, sometimes a lot longer) the connection speed dies off and then the line is dropped.
How can I find out if this is my modem, or my ISP or telephone line provider?
Also occasionally when I hang up the line is not dropped completely. I have to disconnect the telephone line to the laptop to get a dial tone back on my phone!
You could ask on their forum (ISP) to see if it's your PC or the connection.
