Motion eye webcam not working in Vaio VGN-FZ21M

the motion eye webcam on my sony vaio VGN-FZ21M has stopped working. I cannot find the camera through windows, skype or other utilities using camera. I have tried downloading all vaio & windows updates. No success. Any help is appreciated. Thnx. Vaio-user1.2010

Hi iftikhan and welcome to Club Vaio.

Is the camera installed correctly? Go to Device Manager -> Imaging Devices. Is there a Sony Visual Communications Camera Installed?

If it is not there you will need to reinstall the Camera Driver which should be in C:\Drivers\Camera or, if not, it can be downloaded as part of the Original Drivers Package here: -

Dear club Vaio expert.
Thank you for your suggestion. I have downloaded and reinstalled the CAMERA driver by Ricoh. The camera is still not visible through the device centre or other programmes. Any further suggestions?
