MY VGNFS 195 plays my avi's scrambled.

HI, am soory if this has already been answered but i have tried to look for it on this forum but have failed. the one i thought i had got had no replies.

NOw, my VGN fs 195 viao notebook plays my DVds and Mpegs perfectly well but plays uncompressed avi's scrambled. They appear like a negative effect from after effects was added. please help

Hi, did you fix the problem?
If not, you can try to update the "NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 Graphics Driver " in the Vaio Update Page. I had a similar problem and now it is oK.

DivX hasn't had an update for ages

LOL, true. The newest is 5.2.1. But you can't play some AVI files without the DivX codec.
