.Net Framework 3.5

I have a VGN-FS515E running xp service pac 3.Need to install/upgrade my Roxio programme and have to install Net framework 3.5.Everytime I try to there is an error in the installing. Have checked and have .net2 installed already. Any suggestions?

Have you got .net3 installed already? Try installing this first

As a last resort some have had success by uninstalling ALL .net programs so that 3.5 has a clean machine to install onto. This tool will remove all traces of NET framework so if you have software needing a previous version you may have to reinstall the older version again.
