Numerical pad always activated

Hi,

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FS115M and I have a problem:
When I type "u", "i", "o" etc. I always get the number associated with this key, but not the letter. When I press "Fn" at the same time, I get the letter.
But how can I write a text without pressing "Fn" all time? Where can I change this behaviour?

Thanks for your help!

Regards,

Helmut

To set the number lock to 'off' at bootup -
Open windows' Registry Editor > Start > Run, type regedit
navigate to hkey_users\default\control panel\keyboard >
change the value for initialkeyboardindicators to `0¿.
Reboot for this to take effect.
