VAIO dates back to 1996 according to one of their ads.
But yes, it's a classic, and in those days Club VAIO wasn't around.

I'd like to see how many people have real classics and post photos!

Thanks for the reply.The laptop was hardly used so gave it to my granddaughter for her homework.
Have just replaced the fan and added some memory but wondered if there were any more wrinkles I didn't know about such as H/D and CD upgrades.
It's running Windows ME

What size is the hard disk which you have in there?

Hard disc 6mb at present.
