PCG-FX403 MS XP don't shows installed RAM

I have 2x 128MB RAM installed. (It was already installed - I didn't install more). But looking at the system information of windows XP I only see 128MB RAM installed.

What kind of problem was that? Where can I find some more information about this issue? Was it also a problem with other series?

The soldering on the GRX series was a bit dodgy, and some unfortunate people lost their second slot, as the soldering came off due to too much heat in the memory bank.
