PCMCIA Standard Power Output

I have an old PCG - FX505 and am looking for details on the standard power output of the PCMCIA slots. I only ask because I have my eye on a card that says it requires at least 1A Standard Power Output from the PCMCIA slot.. Anyone able to help. Thanks.

The standard output of the 32Bit PCMCIA port is always 3.3volts. Not more, not less.

Thanks - will buy the card anyway and see if it works... 1 Amp seems a bit of a big load to draw off 3.3v... hopefully it wont bust into flames...
