Please help me

Does any1 know of any media palyer that plays Avi films on vista?? ive spent days looking and had no luck what so ever.

hi your vaio zone and vaio media will play them i use it on mine
and divx player will also play them

You can also try videolan (VLC media player) and media player classic too.

VLC is your best bet ..... it'll pretty much play anything http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Might be worth installing FFDShow too .... installs pretty much any codec you'll ever need

thanks alot 4 the feed back, but ive tryed all of them vlc divx ect and ive messed with all the settings and so on but ive had no luck what so ever has any1 else had this problem???

strange... you should simply be able to install divx codec and they files should play on both media centre and wmp.

uninstall the divx and vlc players / codecs and install FFDshow http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow it may be a codec conflict. Worth a shot.
