Please Sony gives us Screen Rotation back !!!

I have upgraded from a VGN T2XP (XP) to a TZ 21(Vista) . All was perfect until disaster struck: the option to rotate the screen to a portrait display in the TZ's Intel 945 Chipset driver has been disabled by Sony! You can actually see the place on the right of the Intel Display Setting in their Graphics interface (in the Control Panel) where the Rotation Enabling should appear and it is tragically blanked out... Why on earth did we go backward on that? :dizzy:

Portrait display was perfect to read long PDFs as a book on the T2.

Please please, Sony, how can we re-enable it? Can a few register key modifications do it? Do we have to get an enabled driver?

Just done that. Installation went smoothly and all operates fine.

However, still no Rotation enabling proposed... :anguished:

If it's not driver related then the next question has to be does anyone have this facility with Vista/Intel?

On a Vaio like a TZ? don't know and would love to know.

On other laptop makes with Vista and Intel 945 Chipset, a quick web search seems to indicate that plenty of Rotation enabling is going on. Hence my suspicion about a Sony-induced issue... :smirk:
