Power op on a Port Replicator without open up the Notebook-LCD

Hello,

i have got an PCG-GTR915M Sony Vaio Notebook and would like to know if there is any way to Power up my Notebook without open it?
I use the PCGA-PRGT1 Port Replicator and would like to connect it to an external Monitor, this Monitor i'd like to place on a Board which is placed over the Notebook itself.
The only problem i got is, that i have to open the LCD-Display of the Notebook to hit the Power button.
