Just a quick tip. If you have a card reader inegrated then you can use that to speed your swap-file. It works really well and makes the computer much snappier (TX5, 1gb ram) and the 4 GB SD card hides well in it's slot.

Thanks for the info.

Some people have said that the USB key doesn't work with Readyboot on the VAIO.

Infact anything should work

This includes

USB Harddrive
USB Pendrives
Any memory card via the memorycard adaptor
Sony memory stick duo via the integrated slot

What MS say is that any external memory device connected can potentially be used as a readyboost device
Though note that some devices might be slower than others...for instance, a SD card as various speeds - the sandisk ultra will function faster than a standard
or a USB device may run faster than a SD or Duo.
