Unable to start recording because the drive for saving recorded t v is not set

I had this problem and the esupport guys phoned me and told me I had to do a full restore. I assume that your TV recording was working okay before this and that the settings show that the drive is set.

The remote control had stopped working a few days prior to this error and the restore fixed both problems.

I would have rather have had a more detailed solution that didn't involve a restore, but you won't get it from sony support.

Hi i Have the exact same problem after 4 x e mails and 5 phone calls to vaio link , full system recovery was the only possible solution need less to say I am still in the same position 3 months later

Has any body got any ideas ?

Have you reinstalled VAIO-Zone?
