Reduced problem on VAIO FS415S

Hi I have purchased FS415S a month back. There is a problem with my Audio. I am getting very reduced volume even at max. volume settings. Even after calling SONY SERVICE i didnt got any resolution. Is this the problem with all the VAIO laptops?

Sounds like a common problem, is this usually during DVD playback? DVDs volumes are not that great, you need to use the booster in WinDVD

I am getting this problem even if i play some thing from my HDD.
When I set the volume to +12DB in some of the applications like iTunes I am getting the volume as expected. Dont know when I called sony they asked me to restore the factory settings... but even that did nt work.

Yeah it's poor amplification on those speakers

External speakers, or you could try VLC (www.videolan.com)
