The fan on my PC has suddenly got noisy...from when I switched it on today.
Its about 14 months old.
Anyone any ideas as to how to solve it please!
Thanks,
Hargrep
Try giving it a clean. Usually dust builds up as does fibre and muck. A vacuum cleaner might help when used at the vents with a narrow nozzle.
Good Luck
Compressed air on the CPU fan is a good idea too, as that thing can accumalate dust like no ones business.
Compressed air on the CPU fan is a good idea too
You disagree?
forget it
the RS is a desktop PC,..........
..........not a labtop:smileygrin:
but where is the problem to open the PC and clean them:smileyconfused:
Ah OK
Hi, My RS322 had a vibration from the face plate, I had to take the case off and clip the panel on properly, when you are vacuuming it there are vents all around the front of the unit, this is where the cooling air is sucked in so it does get quite clogged after a while!
Hope you fix it

Hi Seb,
With Vaio desktops It is only 3 small screws and the whole case comes off!
very easy to clean inside and handy if you want to upgrade components!
