S5 Volume Bar

Hi

I recently had to reinstall my S5M laptop, as i had a virus i was unable to remove, since reinstalling the laptop is fine however my volume bar does not show any more wnen i use the fn button and F3 or F$ to increase or decrease the volume, also when i press the muting key the words dont appear on the screen either, can anyone tell me how to get these back on?

I had the same problem when i had a virus i reinstalled everything and one of the Volume keys and Fn key didnt work.
It was very strange, i did a install again and it was fine.
I think i know why i adjusted the volume as i was restoring it which may be the cause.

thanks for your help, i have tried following the thread and the information but nothing as yet, ill keep trying... i cant seen to find the utils exe prob although i have downloaded the utils folder
