Saving My Music to the D drive

Hi,

Hope someone can help. I've run out of space for music on my 80G lap top, and have just discovered I have a D drive that's empty. Can I use this for anything? So could I keep all my music in here? I've sent my music to the d drive but am sacred to delete it from the c drive just in case i lose it all.

Some advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

Hi DaniGirl i see no reson why you cant use your D Drive if you have copied your music to the drive try playing it from that destination instead of your other drive, Most VAIOs just have 1 HDD which is partioned into TWO drives a C & D Drive i use my D Drive for all program files & music & my C Drive for Windows & all settings. If you are really desperate for space then you could consider purchasing an external HDD they are very cheap nowadays for a lot of storage space.

Hi Danigirl,

Welcome to Club Vaio,

You could also move your My Documents folder from the C drive to the D Drive, here is a guide on the process ..
