Hi All,
I just read a similar problem .. I have a vaio FS115E .. and when I try to start up the laptop or run it on batteries the screen flickers and goes dark. (under a very bright light I realised I can still see something there)
I did set the power management so that on batteries the sceen is set to no change,
After playing around I found that sometimes I can unplug the supply and the screen stays on...
If anyone has any suggestions it would be great
