I have a hardly used pcg-k115s laptop and the 1/! button does not work, neither does " on the 2 button but 2 is ok. 1 works ok on number lock part of keyboard, no idea where to get a "!" from though.
On switch on there are lots of beeps and when opening various programs lots of "1"s appear.
I have lifted the keys to have a clean, gone to default bios, system has been restored but no effect.
Is keyboard broken, is it easy to remove and check (ribbon cable?).
I don't fancy sending it for repair for minimum £100.
ps this is written on old evesham desktop, hence i have "1111111"s!
