Symbol for switching between WLAN & Bluetooth disappeared

hey

i guess, the title says it all: Usually in the systemtray is a green / blue symbol. When i click on it a window openes and i can activate bluetooth or wlan.

This symbol has gone. yesterday i "recovered" my vaio and after installing some updates it was gone. so i guess its a problem with a windows patch.

does anyone know this problem and now what windows patch is reliable for the disappearance?

Hi there

I think its the 'Vaio Smart Network' you refer to.
(with a green light if bluetooth activated etc)

Have you checked the wireless switch is turned on?
My icon does not appear until it is.

Failing that it should be available to download in the support area (depending on your model)
in 'Drivers and utilities - Originally installed.'
