Updated firmware on Vaio but cannot add any more music to player!!!

Help! Recently updated the firmware on my player and that works fine (new skins etc). Now the music transfer software on my laptop doesn't recognise the player exists when it's plugged into its cradle!!! My company will not let me download any other firmware updates (2, sonic stage and 3, vaio music transfer patches) as they have a new internet security policy! Help. . . . . .anybody?!

Do you haven't a PC with internet at home?
You could burn the updates on CD or safe them on a USB stick.
And then you could copy the files on your company PC and install them.

You can find the newest Firmware update here on CV in the download section. SonicStage 3.1 is downloadable on the Sony support site.
