V2S Remote stops working

I have been using my V2S for a number of weeks now without any problems except the remote will sometimes stop working.

I can be sat watching something and change the TV channel (flicking to see what's on) and after a few channels sometimes the remote will just stop working (except the volume).

Any ideas?

Change the Batteries! I got my m2 about a month back and mouse stopped working with the red eye continuously flickering. After serveral reboots i was about to call support, when I decided to change the 3 day old Sony Bats (supplied) to Duracell. SORTED, NO PROBS SINCE.

but since I started this thread I have not had the problem!
