MY SVF15AC1 has, regretfully, never recognised any USB 3 connections.
Following previous advice I have rebuilt the original system, including the 8.1 update. Neither before or after the rebuild, I have never been able to access any USB 3 connection.
Plugging in a USB 3 Flash drive I get the message that "USB not recognised". It is recognised and has been used in the basic USB Port. The USB Stick has been used in a different Laptop without ant ptoblem.
My 12 month warranty is up in a couple of weeks, so any advice would be appreciated
