Yes, my two weeks old sz3, almost virgin, laptop has crashed hard requiring a harddisk replacement. (I have the 100MB 5440 rpm) Didn't do anything special, handled it gently, etc
Oh yes, you'll love this. When I suggested to the service center that they should try and recover the data, they flat out stated it would cost me. No embarassment, no hesitation. Their high end 2 week old laptop hard crashed on me, and they had the gall....
I'm wondering if anybody else has had any trouble here and hope this is not indicative of general unit quality.
