Vaio Upgrade to Vista, can I install bundled software from XP?

 Wondering if anybody can help me? I bought a Vaio VGN-FE11S last May with Windows XP MCE.

I have bought Vista Ultimate but would like to do a clean install. Is there any way that I can extract some of the pre-installed apps bundled with the the laptop eg. Adobe Premier elements, Acrobat elements?

Thanks

Alex

Hi Alex,

Welcome to Club Vaio.

Have you created a se of recovery disc's, if so explore the your recovery disk do the application files have a .PAC files extension..?

If you have .pac files have a look on google for something called Kcap.exe...:smileywink:

You're welcome alexcord..

Now may be a good idea to back-up your Vaio using something like Arconis true image

It's kinda hit and miss to see if they work with Vista.
