Vaio VGN-C2S Blue Screen on Boot up of XP

Hi

I have put my vaio vgn-c2s back to xp and it works fine now i have followed all the driver updates etc, however when i boot it up from cold it keep blue screening for several attempts (Almost 8 in some cases) before it loads up sucessfully. Has anyone else had this issue?

The problem i am having is the blue screen disappears before i can read what it says so i cannot work out what the conflict is

Hi idfoulsham

To view the blue screen info you need to turn off automatically restart on error.

Go to Start > Control panel > System

A System properties window should open, click the advanced tab.
In the Startup & Recovery section click the Settings button.

A new Startup & Recovery window should appear.
In the System failure section, unchceck Automatically Restart, then click OK

The window will close, then click Apply and OK on the System properties window.


You should now get a BSOD instead of a restart.

Is there any other information displayed when the BSOD appears.?

When did the BSOD first appear and what did you install, change, etc. just before that..?
