Hi everyone.

Haven't used this before so any help would be great.

Can not get on to Windows as laptop is notapperaing to be rebooting . Keeps on turning off.

Have managed to get it on in safe mode but then it switched off again. Not really sure of what I am doing!!!!

Hi Susie and welcome.

Sadly, this could be many things. It could be the hard drive or a motherboard problem.  Your model does not have nVidia graphics so it can't be that.

Can you describe what happens when you turn the Vaio on.  What you see on the screen, what lights come on and what you hear.

When it turns off, are there any messages on the screen or is there a blue screen?  Are you using the original Sony Windows 7 Operating System?  Has this just started recently and if so, have you added any software or drivers recently?
