Hi there, just wanted to post a quick query re: addding memory. I bought memory for my XL-100 using an on-line Kingston Configurator, I got 1 x 1Gb memory. Installed it last night & system shows 2Gb meomory running, no problem. It is only now I have already fitted it that I have re-read some of the posts relating to adding memory.
Is it a problem that I fitted 1 x 1Gb instead of 2 x 512mb? Will this not run in "dual channel" now, if not what am I missing out on? Is it worth me chucking this (only cost €13) & buying 2 x 512mb instead?
