Where do i find VGF-AP1L firmware updates?

Hi, ive been looking around on net and people talking about firmware update for VGF-AP1L to allow it to play MP3's anyone got any idea where i can download this update? only update i can find is to fix a ss/open mg fault caused by a windows update! Peace

I haven't heard of this update yet. Sony did, several months ago agreed to include mp3 as a native format in their future line of mp3 players but not for the Vaio Pocket.

We'll just have to wait until an update is released....

I don't think there's anything out just yet. The VGF-AP1L will play MP3s but you have to convert them to ATRAC first. Keep your eye on Vaio-Link for the updates.

TR's right, there's no firmware at the moment.

there is not and will be no mp3 update for the ap1 series.
the update was only for the flash based products, and all other future products will come with it preloaded.

That's what I heard too. A lot of sites are still saying that the AP1 will get mp3 firmware but I'll only believe it when I see it.
