who would buy sony vaio in UK

I'm looking to buy a sony vaio s series, but compared to the us, sony seems to not care about uk customers.

the us customer got 10 rep discount, education discount and even got a free ps3 and ps vista. also their orginal price is cheaper than uk. Its look like who buy an vaio in uk is some stupid

Well, I have bought two, so I must be doubly stupid! They are good machines. Best to buy from a Sony Store, then you can always complain to them. In the US they are competing with Mac Books, so maybe they need to be more competitive. But i don't really know.
