win7+64 gig solid state drive+vaio eb2 = crash. ideas?

I have tried to install windows 7 onto a 64gig kingston ssdnow v series solid state drive on a Sony VAIO vpceb2l9e, after previously using it to run windows XP on a fujitsu seimens amilo 1505.

I formatted it using the windows 7 installation disk.

During installation it seems ok until you enter time zones, passwords, username, key code at which point it crashes once or twice after each entry, the screen turns blue with white writing and it says 'crash dump'and 'dumping physical memory to disk' in the bottom left corner. (see attached file)

Even when windows has installed it crashes every time you perform a task.

I originally tried to clone the original drive on the sony, using the software provided with the kingston drive but it took about 12 hours so I gave up.

Any ideas welcome 🙂
