Digital out format using the NWH-10 Cable with the NW-ZX100HN

I was trying out the cable with my DAC (Cambridge Audio DAC Magic) and noticed that the sample rate output was 48k hz with high resolution files of 96/24 (and 192/24 although not surprised this is limited via USB), cd files showed up as 44.1 khz as expected.  Is the NW-ZX100HN restricted to outputting 48k hz and is it outputing a 24 bit depth sample or 16 bit sample?

I have discovered that the Cambridge DacMagic version I have is restricted to 48k hz on USB so it looks like the NW-ZX100HN is capable of recognising that and putting out a 48k hz signal for higher resolutions.  I will wait to try it with a Dac that supports higher sampling rates on USB.
