Xperia Tablet powers off

Hi,

3 week old XPERIA Tablet SGPT12GB - after last update either the screen locks up and shuts down or shuts down after booting up.

Pattern is the same with or without SD card - oh and I've got no 3rd parth power management options installed.

Any clues before I sort out a refund?

I wish Sony would sort this out....

Can you report it to Sony via their telehone support? If you are in the UK, it is  08702402408  then add 1234567#  for the case number and then get it reported..

or...

ask for your refund..

Sony telephone support seems to have given up on my case....

I wonder if Thalamus has heard anything about the power off problem.   It has been many weeks since my first post.

Hi djruff,

Can you clarify if the problem you are having is regarding your tablet turning off when in sleep mode or is this different.?

Hi Thalamus

My tablet is locking up and turning off too. It's whilst It's being used.

I'm going to call in to the Sony centre where I bought it from and see what they say.

Yeah, sorry- I just used this particular thread as my tablet wasn't turning off in standby.

Ah so it sounds as though your problem is slightly diferent.?

Heya,

Yeah, I've been given a reference number via the helpline.

The tablet has stopped even booting up since this morning.

My Xperia phone isn't working properly either - it's not my month, lol!
