Just noticed whilst flicking through the Freeview channels on my sony bravia that Sky Sports are on there.

Any ideas how to subscribe?

Also, will Sony ever release a firmware for .MKV files?

You'll need to get a Top Up TV CAM card holder and viewing card to fit in the slot on your TV and pay a monthly subscription.  See the TopUp TV website: http://www.topuptv.com/skysports
