Sony Bravia KDL-32D3000 no freeview HD channels.

I can't get my Sony Bravia KDL-32D3000 tuned on freeview HD channels. My recorder has no problems so it must be something with the Sony.

Product overview shows HD ready

Any solutions for this?

Hi, sorry, but this TV cannot receive Freeview HD channels. It is HD ready, which means it can show a HD picture, such as from a Blu Ray disc or a Sky HD box, but it does not have a built in Freeview HD receiver needed to get the channels.

Sorry but if Sony advertise with HD ready they need to be specific if this is not for freeview. I will log a call with Sony to get this sorted as above answer is not acceptable

Hi, HD Ready has been an industry standard description for the past 6 / 7 years that tells you if a TV is capable of showing a HD picture. It is not just Sony who use this description. A TV has to have a Freeview HD receiver built in to be able to get the HD channels. The first TV that had this capability was only released a year or so ago, so it is a fairly new technology.
