Please can someone assist me.

I have always been able to login to my Google Account on my desktop PC.

Recently, I just bought a Sony TV and when I went through the set up process I logged into my Google Account via my TV, no problem.

However, today, I tried to login into my Google Account on my desktop PC, but it wanted verification, it didn't like the fact that I was trying to login on now a 'different' device !?

It said:

"Verify that it's you. There's something unusual about how you're signing in. To show that it's really you, complete the task below."

The 'task' was somekind of verification code sent to my Sony TV!?

My PC is in a different room to my TV, but I went to check my TV to see if it sent a code, but it didn't, or not that I am aware of, if so, where would it appear?

I think Google thinks that my Sony TV is a mobile phone device !?

Please assist?

I understand that you now cannot log into you account on you PC, but the account has been added to your TV. Can you please reply back the the exact error message you are getting when logging in via your PC?
