TV does not store keyboard layout settings (Android 7)

Every time I switch the TV off and on again I am forced (at least once every day) to repeat the procedure of defining the settings for my Logitech Wirerelss Touch Keyboard K400 Plus (the one officially recommended by Sony).

The TV does not store the layout (reverts to "predefined")! Resulting in wrong keys.

At minimum it seems to me it should match/assume as predefinition for the physical keyboard the language used in the OSD.

I don't remember this happening with Android 6.

Still happening with the latest update.

Would it be that difficult to program the TV to assume that, by default, the layout of a connected external keyboard must (logically) match the language used in the TV menus?

Or, as the bare minimum, couldn't the damn TV permanently store the option manually chosen?
