This may have been asked previously but is there any news as to when I can use my Google Home hardware to turn my Bravia 4K TV on and off?

I can't find anything on the Sony website about Google Home at the moment, but it might be helpful to know which model TV you have. Have you tried following these instructions already? If not, that could be worth a go.

I managed to achieve voice control by connecting a spare Chromecast dongle to a spare HDMI input (not USB port) and setting it up in Google Home.

Now all my Google Home devices can turn the TV off and on by voice.

Easy when you know how.
