2015 Bravia Android TV google cast issue

Hi guys

Once again it looks like the Chromecast issue has come back on my TV again, iv disabled and re enabled it powered off and switched off still can't cast from any android decide any help would be greatly appreciated

The TV model is 49X8305C and the Chromecast built in version is 1.31.115279

I also have this problem on my 55XE9005. It seems to have stopped working since the most recent firmware update.

I've also force stopped and disabled with no joy...

I’m having the same problem too casting from my iPhone to my TV.

It was ok until the latest firmware update.

My TV model is KD-55XD8599 and the Chromecast built in version is 1.31.115279

Just noticed today that Cast seems to be working again. Not sure what fixed it, I certainly haven't done anything!

Interestingly, I was also having problems connecting Kore to the Kodi app (mobile remote), but that has also now started working again, so it looks like they were linked in some way

Nope mines still not working I think it's because I've update my android phone to 8.0 as it works on 7.0

Hi Nick,

Can you try to reset the TV to factory defaults and try to cast again from different apps.
