Catch Up apps (iplayer erc) missing

Hi,

I have a Sony KD-55XE85960 Android TV.

I normally use my BT box for catch up Tv but the other day i wanted to watch via the TV. I can't see any of the catch up apps anywhere.

Any ideas (I have youview disabled (it slowed down TV IMO). I did reinstate youview and the catch up feature worked (ie would load up iplayrer) but I could launch or see the app independantly.

Any ideas?

Hi Sean,

I am aware of the apps for Andriod TV (not many) however my issue is the catch up tv apps such as iplayer as this is not listed in the link you gave me. I know that the TV has ipalyer as it can be used with youview. Can you advise how i can access iplayer without youview option enabled?
