Sony logo looping issue. Kd-55x8507c

Hi.

I bought a sony tv..second hand from a friend, but it's only a year old. Was working fine at his but as soon as I got it home it just keeps looping the Sony logo and turning off. Tried factory reset by holding power and vol down but no joy. Hope someone can help.
