Can't 'watch on demand' because.......

i have a Sony Bravia KDL-32R503C and it won't let me watch any of the built in streaming apps, such as Amazon, iPlayer. Had it 3 years and this has never happened before. When I try click on one of the built ins it says that I can't 'watch video on demand whilst recoding' BUT I'm not recording anything. Have switched off and on etc..... any ideas ? 🎄🎄
