Faint Line AF8

Yesterday I took delivery of the AF8, fantastic TV. All was ok until I noticed a faint line about 2 inches wide running down the left hand side of the screen. I didn't notice yesterday, there was a firmware update this morning which I think added the Dolby Vision update. Could this be the cause of it? Or has anyone else had this problem?

Hi @A.Jeff, welcome to the Community.

Could you describe this line a little more? Or perhaps post a photo. It doesn't sound 'normal', especially if it's a wide band rather than a faint line. Could be worth checking out with the retailer.

Had similar problem with a series of vertical lines from L/H to centre of screen after 7 weeks from new. Thought it was vertical banding but engineer advised it was the sound system causing the problem. Whatever it is its being replaced with New TV depite Sony trying to replace with a reconditioned unit which I refused.
